I went into Kids Journeys Looking for some shoes,

Specific shoes,

If I do not find them I will get the blues,

Then I look to my left and see all of the shoes,

 

So many of the shoes were right there,

There were Jordans everywhere,

Pink, Blue, Red, Black,

All so pretty but not the ones,

 

I look around the whole store,

I just could not take it anymore,

I was turning around to walk out,

When something was pretty enough to catch my eye,

 

Black tips with purple lining and the shoe was grey,

There was nothing more that I could say,

$70,

What a price, but they looked amazing,

 

I got out the shoes,

They fit perfectly,

I felt like Cinderella,

I knew the shoes were meant for me,

 

I bought them at the counter,

That was the last of the money,

Those were the shoes,

That got me pulling out my wallet,
