I am a person, not a computer!

There are many similarities between communicating in person and using technology. They both can show emotion by your face and how you say something in the conversation. You are still interacting with the person whether you are talking in person or you are facetiming, Skyping, or just calling or texting. A friend and I Facetime a lot. Long conversations are still possible because because in person you can just sit with each other and talk and if you are communicating with technology you can talk on the phone for a long time. Martin Cooper has made it possible for us to communicate with someone around the world. Communicating in person and with technology have a lot of similarities, but at the same time they have many differences.

Communicating using technology and in person have many differences. The distance is a big difference because you have to be near someone to hear them in person and with technology it does not matter the distance to have a conversation because technology can be used to talk to someone around the world. Right now I am communicating with someone in Israel. Messaging is a big difference between the two. In person body language and facial cues helps get your message across and with technology sometimes the message is misinterpreted. There is a big difference between trust. In person you know who you are talking to and when you are using technology you do not know who you are really talking to because anyone can make a fake account.Watch out who you are talking to. If we put down our technology for a couple of hours a day, we can get back into regular civilization. Even though we still need technology to communicate with your friends around the world.
