I sat on the slide as the water poured down my face. The second I started going down the slide the butterflies awoke!

 Splash Kingdom, a wonderful place to be in the summer. Kenzie, Hunter, Hailey, Leigha, and I were entering with the biggest smiles on our faces. We went down every slide and played in the pool. Hailey is the person that helped me with everything and Leigha was always by my side. I wanted to ride that was tall and scary. Hunter thought I was a baby so he said,” Hey Lynzi, you should ride The Royal Flush!” Of course, I said no because that ride looked crazy. Kenzie said,” I will give you funnel cake if you go down.” I said,”Only if we pinky promise!” So we did.

 I was heading up the slide calmly, but the closer I got to the top the more petrified I got. When I got up there I said,” Being alone will not be fun, let’s go down a ride I can be with one of you!” “ I knew you were a baby!” said Hunter. The second I heard that I sat on the slide with butterflies in my stomach. Then I pushed off the slide and I went flying down the slide feeling like a cheetah zooming across a plain of grass.

 I went zooming down the slide. I dropped into the pool at the end and swam to the side. Leigha helped me up out of the pool.” I guess you are not a baby Lynzi!” said hunter with a big smile. Now let’s go get that funnel cake. We went to the food bar and got a huge funnel cake for all of us to share.

 After the funnel cake we climbed back up the stairs. At the top I sat on the slide as the water poured down my face. The second I started going down the slide, the butterflies awoke again. I second guess myself at the end. Now I know that being alone can be fun.
